A New Season Is Just About Upon Us...
With September just around the corner, dance classes are soon to start, filling the air with sounds of shimmy belts for another year of delightful dancing.
For those of you who have already contacted us about starting the beginner classes this Fall you have probably already gotten a message from my assistant, Sharon, regarding registration. Sharon will also start to connect with some of the intermediate dancers this week. The biggest news she will share is the change of location for our classes this year. They will now be given in the dance studio located in the Beausejour Curling Club on the corner of Essex & Lockard streets. I'm looking forward to dancing in the new space.

Another thing I am looking forward to is the small show with myself and some of my students scheduled to take place at the Shediac Farmers Market, located in the Park Pascale Poirier. The performances are taking place this upcoming Sunday, on August 31st. We will be dancing 2 short half hour sets, the first at 10:30am and the other at 12:30pm. This is a free outdoor event that hosts a wide variety of vendors and services and everyone is welcome. There will be some bellydance merchandize being sold at a booth near the stage.
I have decided to do something a bit different to mark the beginning of the term and am curious to see how it will turn out. As of 2pm the same afternoon as the show, I will welcome any of my students who wish to join me for a BBQ / potluck at my home in Shediac. It will be a very relaxed affair and husbands, boyfriends, girlfriends and children are welcome to come hang-out, eat and have some fun together. All who wish to bring something for the bbq or potluck are welcome to do so and those who cannot bring anything are also welcome. Please contact the studio for directions by Friday if you are thinking of joining me.
I sign off with anticipation for the sounds of coins ringing off of beautiful dancing hips next Sunday at the Market and at our first classes in the new dance studio.
