Yesterday just hapenend to be International Bellydance Day and it was FUN!'

I am very grateful for all the wonderful moments experienced, joy shared and work accomplished. We had a successful bazaar with a wonderful selection of costumes, hips scarves, music, tops, pants, hats and jewelry. The workshop was Great! Very informative with a nice combination of simple to complex combinations. I especially appreciated and enjoyed the warm up and the way Tara allowed us to experience the rhythms thru simple walking & clapping exercises.

Arne prepared a wonderful meal and inviting atmosphere at his restaurant and the service was excellent. I'm glad that Michel was there with his cameras and I caught glimpses of others who were trying to catch some special moments for prosperity. I hope we can find some worthwhile video & photos to place on the site. I'm looking forward to seeing the video of my performance. I felt very well pleased with my dances and loved performing for those of you who were there. I was very excited to be wearing my new green bedlah and matching mermaid skirt that Mary tailored for me. Tara costumes were also beautiful and she did a wonderful job with her dances. I loved her coyness with the cane in inviting people to get up and dance with her and her shimmy solo rocked! Thanks to everyone who participated and sent me warm wishes. It was a Great way to celebrate my 10 year milestone.
